Case Study: Seventh-day Adventist Church
The Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Pacific Southwest represents the nearly 250,000 church members in California, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and Hawaii and 700 church congregations. While considered an evangelical Christian denomination, they are unique in their passion for a holistic spiritual experience, emphasizing health, education, and social justice. Their healthcare institutions and educational institutions are among the finest in the world.
While the Seventh-day Adventist Church is a worldwide organization, the Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Pacific Southwest has a geographical, cultural, and racial diversity that makes them unique. In fact, the Pew Research Center describes them as the most diverse church community in North America. We worked closely with their leadership and communications team to develop a brand strategy that would enable them to more clearly communicate their story to their members and the world at large. The result was a system of design and content guidelines that made it easier for all communicators in the church to produce content that was consistent in message, tone, and visual presentation. Projects included a completely new website, brand guidelines, advertising, publication design, event graphics, and more.
